PAREF Rosehill School is looking into the possibility of bringing back the Rosehill Director’s Cup face-to-face, although Intrams and Family Day as done in the past years are most likely not going to happen this school year.

“We are already in the planning stage,”  Ms. Christy de los Angeles, PAREF Rosehill School Head for Personal Formation, said in an interview last October 19, 2022.

“Due to the health protocols, it won’t happen this school year. Our priority is your safety,” said Ms. de los Angeles.

Ms. de los Angeles said that she cannot reveal any details about the events, saying that she does not want to confirm anything as of now.

“The plan will pass through a process,” she said. “There’s a committee that’s planning, then we will get the inputs from others, then it will be approved. But yes, we are already planning for Intrams and Family Day.”

Though it is possible that the Rosehill Director’s Cup will return face-to-face in the future, Ms. de los Angeles reminded students to keep an open mind.

“I know that the older students who experienced the activities in the Director’s Cup already set their expectations, but I want everyone to remember that we are coming from the pandemic. We still have to be careful because the pandemic is not yet over,” she said.

Ms. de los Angeles said that there will be changes to how the old Intramurals and Family Day were done.

“We want to give you a happy, fun, and wonderful experience for Intrams and Family Day, but we are in the transition stage,” she explained. “During the pandemic, we had to learn new ways to adapt, so now we will learn again. This year will definitely be different.”

Ms. de los Angeles also mentioned that the school has not planned for the captains and co-captains of the four school teams.

“I just hope that you will all enjoy the Intrams and Family Day that we can have, and I promise that we will have the old Director’s Cup again.”
